The "Library UNCONFERENCE" has arrived at TLA District 5.

...Join us for a new, social networking ideas sharing and learning sessions!

Got a Gadget?

...Come, Share and Tell!

Bring Ideas, Bring Questions!

  • How can libraries best use these technologies to maximize services?

Share & Tell us...   Everyone is welcome to participate (or just listen) in interactive learning - guided by a table host who presents key ideas and quickly gets the discussions rolling! Some may call it "brainstorming" or a "living listserv" but it is better!   Don't blink...Gadgets change every 15 minutes!

What is an UNCONFERENCE?!?

Our definition: Quick, single-topic discussions to share knowledge among librarians in a give-and-take format.

Dave winer states, [An unconference is] "The sum of the expertise of the people in the audience is greater than the sum of expertise of the people on stage." (Dave Winer blog, 3/5/2006)
